45112 was defective for most of the day. It finally came down to Rushcliffe for the back of the 1850 to Ruddington with 73141 now dead in train. 44004 was on the other end. 73141 was removed on arrival leaving the last train with "just" a peak at each end. How often have you seen a peak & an ED coupled together?

The line is basically a single line. All Southbound trains have to de-train all passengers at Rushcliffe and set-back into the recess siding to allow the Northbound train to pass before resuming their journey.
